Find an inspiring ARTIST of your choice from any era and create a one page description about the art work! You may choose any artistic style such as visual artists, musicians, poets, dancers, photographers, new media artist's, mixed media artist's, and any other type of artistic medium you are inspired by and think would be relevant!? Download a minimum of 5 images from the artist you have chosen and explain why you are captivated by this style of art? Describe the subject matter of the art? Describe the emotions conveyed within the work? Describe the concepts, themes and ideas in the art? Have fun and speak from the heart!

"Fred Herzog devoted his artistic life to walking the streets of Vancouver as well as almost 40 countries with his Leica, photographing - mostly with colour slide film - his observations of the street life with all its complexities."
I have always found Fred Herzog's photographs to be such a beautiful and yet raw examination of the human condition. Always authentic candid photos which never appear to be forced. The images often exemplify the feeling of strolling through the streets of Vancouver on a crisp morning while the sun rises. Herzog primarily worked in color and danced with light through the golden hour of dusk and dawn. These are precious moments in time captured from the vantage point of a spectator looking to tell the truth. Herzog's photos have a strong composition with the use of buildings and architecture in combination with people moving throughout the frame. Its the movement from people within the photograph which creates the visual beauty of motion, transition and change.
